Sauze d'oulx your own personal in resort specialist

Hi I live in sauze d'oulx, the snow this year is fantastic, best it has been since 30 years, If Sauze d'Oulx is on your list of resorts to ski in make sure you do it this year, there is more snow and powder then some of the more famous ski resorts in canada and usa. Any help or advice you may need just email me, I will be glad to help.

We are a family group of 4 adults and 3 teenage boys. 2 of the adults are total beginners while the others are intermediate skiers so any advice on ski schools/lessons and ski hire etc would be most appreciated. We will be arriving on 14th Feb. Could you recommend a reasonably priced hotel with spa facilities (preferably with a swimming pool) in the Sauze d'ouix region?

Are there any good rates/discounts on ski passes available online or in resort - the best I have found from the UK is skiholidayextras.

It doesn't look like the system accepts swatch snowpasses?

There is a train I believe that takes about an hour - someone had posted quite a few details in one of the forums so it is worth having a look for the post.

Hi

I apologise to all of you for not having answered you, I usually get an email to let me know someone has written on the forum, this time something has gone wrong and so I have only noticed now that you had all posted questions.

I am really sorry. To avoid this in the future please email me directly at info@skiinitaly.com, this cuts down loop holes and errors and emails get to me directly

Transfer to Sauze d'Oulx

either by publice bus to Torin centre, then train to Oulx then again public bus to Sauze, cheap but takes ages especially waiting in between 1 type of transport and the other. so not great especially with lots of luggage.

Car Hire also an option make sure you get snow chains

I had been using the Sauze forum and only recently realised this one was available. I can recommend contacting skiinitaly, Christine was most helpful and the recommended ski hire was good quality and a good rate. The Gran Batia hotel was good value for money with good food if slightly dated surroundings.

We were a group of 22 and all enjoyed it. I might not be back next year but Sauze is definately on my list of places to return to.

Thanks again to Christine.

Sams Sauze just goes to show that you are on the forum to promote your business and not to give general advise if you wait for TA to advise you there has been a reply.

How do you manage to sell package holidays without a tour operators license?

Just to clarify my last submission. The group of 22 booked our hoiliday with Crystal and by scouring the internet found the cheapest ski hire. It just so happens that the ski hire person was most helpful with local knowledge of Sauze D'Oulx.

Dear Ecosseresurgam,

seems like you have misunderstood my message and also my replies.

I live in Sauze and more and more people cannot afford or wish to go for ski holidays for a week but just wish to travel for a couple of days especially by using the low cost no frills airlines that fly into Turin airport from all over, and no tour operator offers this.

I am not a tour operator,

I do not sell packages and

I also do not accept any monies or charge any booking fees,

All I do is put information on a web site and help independent ski travellers with advice and the possibility to book all, some or none of their holiday needs directly with suppliers in resort in advance, therefore promoting local small hotels and ski hire shops on the internet.

This is exactly what i explain on my tripadvisor profile, so it cannot be any clearer or more transperent

About me:

I am setting up this year a web site www.skiinitaly.com offering independent ski travellers help and advice to book their ski trip to sauze d'oulx. I will help you create a holiday as individual as you are.

Hope to see you soon christine@skiinitaly.com

regards

Hi

We are hoping to go to Sauze d'oulx 14th Feb for 1 week. I have booked flights already but wanted to stay at the Stella Alpina but its full. Can you recommend any other hotels near the slopes?

Cheers
