Hi, welcome to the forum.

I'm not aware of any hotels in Riva that allow non-residents to use their pools. If you are considering other places on Lake Garda then, in the town of Garda itself, people staying at the Astoria Hotel can use the pool at the Hotel Oasi (there's a small charge). Or if you stay at the Hotel Neno or Hotel Sole then you can use the pool at the Hotel La Perla as they are all owned by the Europlan group.

2. Re: swimming

Sadly we have to stay in Riva for my other half to go sailing. A mixture of booking lastminute and the boys wanting to be in the old town has meant we have had to book an apartment without a swimming pool. I was really hoping for a swimming pool for my little 2 year old. It would really help in keeping us busy while his dad sails all day.
