Just spent 3 nights at Marincanto in mid-April. Beautiful hotel, great location, and has an elevator and our room had a beautiful balcony. If you consider this location, then request a room in the main building (with the elevator), as there are other buildings that would require a bit of walking and steps. Highly recommend this hotel, and would stay here again without a doubt. http://www.marincanto.it/en/hotel.html

Le Sirenuse (very pricey, practically next door to the Marincanto) - both of these you can enter right off the road.

And, you can look through the hotels in Positano - you may need to contact certain hotels to find out re: elevator:

I know of a few others but just getting to the hotel itself involves climbing.

I am assuming you know the village is vertical and while the hotel may have an elevator, one cannot escape the steps (sadly).

We stayed at the Hotel Ancora which is located next door to Le Sirenuse so great location but at 1/3 the price. It has a elevator like you requested along with great balconies and stellar views of Positano. Our actual room had a huge balcony which had a table with 2 chairs and 2 nice chaise lounge chairs to lay back on, we spent hours out there enjoying many meals, the views and just relaxing. Per the hotel Guests of Hotel L'Ancora are invited to enjoy facilities at sister Hotel Covo dei Saraceni which is a 5 star hotel located on the main beach of Positano. Below are links including my review on TA of Ancora with pics of our balcony and views.

Actually, in addition to my previous suggestion of Marincanto, 3 years ago we also stayed at Posa Posa. It too had elevators and balconies. Although Posa Posa was fine, we thought Marincanto was much nicer and more centrally located. Just another option to consider.

Loved Buca di Bacca! Elevators to floors, perfect location in town. The executive double has a large terrace and sea view:)
