Livigno ski lift pass

Hi

Can anybody tell me if it is worth a non skier taking a trip up the mountains for walking , coffee etc and to take in the views. Went to Livigno last year but as non skiers did not venture up into the mountains once , just concentrated on the skidoos and huskey rides etc. Going back end of this month having just returned from Zell Am See where there is a special rate for non skiers for the lifts to the mountains to enjoy the walks and scenery and great hot chocolate from the mountain restaurants. I seem to remember the one day pass price in Livigno would have meant an expensive cup of mountain coffee for a non skier !

Would appreciate any advice on this , Thanks , Dodgy.

I have read about a points system lift pass ( similar to a top up mobile phone ) that would maybe suit you . There is another posting on here that has all the details ( it's at the top of the Livigno forum ) . Maybe of some help .

Hi, Agree with above post. More info on www.skipasslivigno.com (rates. ski pass) you'll see the points system . A friend of our's used this system last year (non skier) and covered alot of the area on both sides of the valley. Have a good one, we'll be there 26th Jan.

Hi

Thanks for your reply. Also going on the 26th ! Went for New Years eve last year and stayed half board at the Bellavista ( great food ) so did not really eat anywhere else , just coffee's etc. Self catering this time so any reasonably priced places you can recommend for an evening meal would be good. Nice pasta's , pizza's etc ( and good house wine of course ! ) with nice decor and atmosphere.

Cheers , Dodgy.
