Antique market on Easter Sunday

Being that the first sunday in April is Easter Sunday, does anyone know if the market will still be on?

Yep, according to the Comune di Arezzo website it should still be on for the weekend of the 3 & 4 of April.

You can see the rest of the calendar here: arezzofieraantiquaria.org/2010/…

No problem! I think it's only in Italian but I assumed that it was pretty easy to figure out the dates and the months etc! ;)

Have a great time!

I was at the Arezzo antiques market today and talked to the vendors - the market is open the first Sunday of every month and the Saturday before - 12 months a year no matter what. If that weekend happens to be a holiday, no matter. The market must go on.

So, yes - go on Easter Sunday (or the day before) and enjoy!

That is great that you were able to talk to them. We would miss it otherwise, so was hoping it was still on. We are looking forward to some wonderful browsing, and shopping. Is there ample parking in the area? We are driving in from our place near Orvieto. Thanks!

The most convenient parking lot is "Eden" - along the walls near the station. You pay for as long as you stay. If the lot is full, just wait until someone leaves and you'll get in. Leaving the lot, head for Corso Italia. Just ask.

Lunch tip: during the antique market weekend, the eateries all fill up fast and few take reservations so plan to get to one early or to wait. One of our favorites is Fiaschetteria de' Redi on Via de' Redi.
