Has anyone stayed at the Arden House or the Homewood Lodge? Any info on these or other Kingussie lodging would be very much appreciated.
No, but I have stayed several times at Greystones www.greystonesbandb.com I discovered it by chance through the tourist info centre and have found it very relaxed - Anne & Mark are very friendly and helpful hosts, the rooms are lovely (Mark is a carpenter when he isn't helping to run the B&B - he made the four poster bed in one of the rooms) and the views are super.
We have stayed at Homewood lodge in March 2006.
If we had known how good it was going to be we would have stayed there for all of our trip and travelled to all the other places we wanted to see.
It has a super position, great views with nothing in front of you.
Lovely gardens with loads of wildlife and the house inside is a gem, so cosy and lovely big bedrooms.
We were made so welcome from the minute we arrived and everything was perfect.
The food, the attention we had, the situation and the hosts were wonderful, can't speak too highly of it.
We have stayed in much more expensive establishments which were not a patch on Homewood Lodge. Chris & Joyce- U.K.
Thank you Jasper99. Sounds like just what we are looking for. Did you also eat there or did you have dinners in town?
