Does Isle of Man have own pounds, like Gibraltar, Scotland or Northern Ireland have? Thanks!

Short answer is yes, the IoM does issue its own currency. www.gov.im/treasury/finance/currency.xml

UK-issued notes and coins are accepted on the island along with Manx currency (which includes £1 notes).

The old days are over. Bank's on the island now require multiple documentation to open a new account.

Thanks for these responses. I knew that there are Manx coins, but I did not know if you find them in circulation. I am passionate about coins/notes and that's the reason for asking. For example, if I ever get to IoM, I can get Manx notes from ATM, or coins at the bank? Thank you all , once again...

You will get Manx notes from an ATM,many places in the UK are now refusing to accept Manx notes so it's wise not to get caught with too much left over unless you plan another visit
