Need a local tour-guide !

Looking for a local tour guide or individual to drive 4 adults around in early September. Probable destinations would be Plymouth , Widdecombe , Brixham and Dawlish. And any and all pubs in-between. Probably all this spread out over 2 or 3 days.

thanks in advance / Bruce from Canada

There are NO "hailable" cabs in Newton, but there are at least two ranks.. one at the Rail station and another just by the market square...there are numerous telephone Taxi firms...

A good option might be to get a "devon rover" ticket for the train.....

The Premier inn mentioned above (the grandstand) is a level 10-15 min walk from the main town centre.

I didn't think there would be, but my comments were aimed at someone from another country who possibly doesn't realise the distinction or the meaning of 'private hire' in relation to taxis.
