Assuming it's the one in Oxfordshire, the easiest would be Easybus to Baker Street, walk to Marylebone (couple hundred yards), then train to Banbury

But any of the public transport options from Luton Airport to London would work, just would be a bit more difficult getting to Marylebone

Going via London is probably quickest but can be quite stressful. Another option is the 737 coach to Oxford and then train/coach/bus to Banbury. I would enter the actual locations, date and time into http://www.travelinesoutheast.org.uk and see what it comes up with, it's normally pretty reliable.

Not the easiest of journeys; most direct but involving two changes is:

VT99 bus Luton (airport or bus station) to Milton Keynes - hourly, one hour

X5 bus Milton Keynes to Bicester North station - half hourly, 45 minutes

Train to Banbury (2 or 3 an hour, 15 minutes)
