Cable Car

Really not at all well organised, rather unwelcoming in that all the bits of paper stuck over the window tell you what you can't do. They don't take any form of credit or debit cards either!

Once you have navigated through the turnstile affair having carried your pushchair up the steps (there is no ramp) the operatives are not in any form of uniform, just look as though they are being disturbed from reading their papers.

The cabins themselves are small and old but to be fair the view is very good.

To get back down you have to queue again, waiting for the people who just go up and down for a round trip so inevitably the upper queue is longer. Again there are the sticky bits of tatty paper telling you about the last cable.

Overall needs updating both structurally and personel.

So sorry to hear about your visit ,of course this is not what we want Llandudno to be remembered for ,so can I suggest you put your complaint in writing to the Llandudno Tourist office ,perhaps if more people did this things would be done to make it a pleasant attraction to visit once again

Remember without visitors like you they would have no jobs....

JPW262 It's also worth pointing out that the Cable Car Station is built on a hill. Have you any idea of how much space it would take to try and put a ramp in? You would never, ever be given planning permission to do so. If you are making statements you should at the very least be accurate. You stated " To get back down you have to queue again, waiting for the people who just go up and down for a round trip so inevitably the upper queue is longer. Wrong anyone on a round trip has to get off at the top walk around the building and then join the back of the Queue to come down, just like everyone else. All that differs is the length of time they wish to spend at the top.

No need to be rant. It is organised enough to have workers and actually run it. The 'turnstile affair having carried your pushchair up the steps', there is only around 5 - 6 steps and the trunstlie is there for a reason obviously. The workers have to concentrate a lot, sending a cabin out every minute while another taking one coming in. Bits of paper saying that you shouldn't rock the cabin and sit at odd angles. Also, it says the weather factors the Cable Car can't run in. That's useful! At the summit, with people queing up again. They had return tickets and, weren't you doing the same as everyone else? Same bits of paper saying about the weather (useful) and the last cabin (useful). It may need updating, but it can do for now.
