Gower coast adventures

Hello! Is it possible to ask people in our hotel in Cardiff (Maldron Hotel) to book a boat ride from Mumbles to 3 Cliff Bay (or any other boat ride)? We are coming in July and we have no car so we also need some information on what is the easiest way to reach the departure point. Thanks

Swansea is about an hour's train ride from Cardiff, you'll then need to catch a bus to the Mumbles which will take another 45 mins. The hotel may book for you or be able to offer advice on an alternative trip.

maldron hotel is right next to cardif train station.

day return cardiff to swansea is £8.80.

from swansea train station(high street) either walk to swansea quadrant bus station or get a bus so could buy a day bus ticket (£4.20) for journey on to mumbles and back as well.

bus number 2 to mumbles.

think gower coast boat trip goes from knab rock near verdi's.

they do trips to rhossilli and worms head as well as three cliffs.

other canal boat trip goes from swansea marina up the river tawe called the community boat http://scbt.org.uk/

Plenty of useful information, really. Since we plan to buy South Wales pass, I hope it will be valid on most of these bus and train routes. The canal boat trip also sounds interesting so thanks a lot.
