I have read on the forums here that the daily ferries through Lysefjord only run until the end of August. Unfortunately we are visiting Stavanger around 9/15/13. We would love to see both Pulpit Rock and hike up to Kjeragbolten on the same day.
Our original plan was to take a ferry from Lauvvik to Forsand, then Forsand to Lysebotn, hike Kjerag, then hike Pulpit Rock if there was a ferry that stopped nearby. Then all the way back to Lauvvik, and back to Stavanger.
Does anybody know if there is ferry access mid-September for this kind of trip?
Or is renting a car the only option?
Also, Kjerag is open mid-September right?
Any information would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
