Cheapest way from Graz to Salzburg

Dear friends,

I am in Graz now. I should go to Salzburg at 23 of March for 3 days.

I have 28 years old therefore the ticket price hin und zuruck is about 80 euro.

Could you advice any other cheap way to go to Salzburg from Graz?

Maybe by bus or by plane .

Thank you beforehand.

If you will traveling regularly by train, look to buy a VORTEILScard.

With this, you can travel the OEBB at gretly reduced rates.

Thank you very much for your advice.

But I do not travel a lot. I just should go to Salzburg. And paying 99 euro for buying a Vorteilkarte (because I am over 26) is a little bit expensive for me.

Could you advice any other possibilities?

Thnak you beforehand.

As you probably know OEbb fares are based on kilometers traveled. Fare to Salzburg at 39+ euro is not bad and convenient.

No bus service that I know about .

Re plane . do not think you can find fare less than 39-

Does Spirit fly there?

You can do it by plane... but just if you are crazy!

23.3.:

Graz 15:25 - Vienna 16:10

Vienna 17:10 - Salzburg 17:55

26.3.: (the only available flight)

Salzburg 17:15 - Linz 17:45

Linz 18:20 - Vienna 19:10

Vienna 19:55 - Graz: 20:40

Cost: € 583,23 query: www.aua.com

No bus services between these two towns, but comfortable rail connections.
