Is it possible to buy a pass for the funicular only?

Hello, we recently visited Innsbruck and would like to plan to return and rent for a few weeks next summer. Is it possible to buy a weekly or monthly pass for funicular access only? I wasn't able to find anything but the tourist card which is not what we are looking for. Thank you!

No, I could not find any pass that entitles you to unlimited rides.

You could still ask at the ticket office once there, maybe they offer anything that isn't shown on their website. Although I doubt that....

You can ask directly a person who is working at the Innsbruck tourist office: office@innsbruck.info They will now if they have the pass that you would like to buy.

Since you did not mention it, and we may have simply assumed it, do you actually speak about the Nordkette Cableway?

Actually we would be interested in that as well if that is available, but I couldn't find anything on that one either. But that would be more for hiking (hike up and ride the cable car back down ). Second priority. The funicular would be how we haul groceries back up to the rented house in Hungerburg....but we are looking into bus service for that now, but that would not be very enjoyable.

I did email the tourist office, we'll see if they respond. but appreciate everyone's help!

Got a response from the tourism office, there's no pass other than an annual one...posting it here in case others have questions:

There are no monthly tickets for our gondolas/cable cars. The only other thing we have is a year-pass, but that is probably not worth getting if you are here only for a month. It is called Freizeitticket, more info on www.freizeitticket.at (only available in German)

Well, what's wrong with the bus? Runs essentially more often, is covered by all local transport passes and is more likely to have a stop close to a supermarket.
