Hiking in St Anton(?)

Hiking in St Anton(?)

Hello,

I'm thinking of going hiking in St Anton 2-7 of July. Would you say that St Anton is a good village to stay in for great hiking? I prefer some hikes at higher altitudes and maybe to see some nice lakes.

Or would you suggest another place?

I'm travelling from Zurich by train.

Thank you in advance!

Kind regards

This is a good place to hike. Some options in the area:

Lech www.lechzuers.com/en/summer/hiking/

Ischgl www.ischgl.com/en/Active/Active-Summer/Hiking

Hiking can be done in many areas, also because it does not require that much, and therefore you won't find the one that is best or perfect in every respect.

The Arlberg area will definitely be worthwhile and memorable, and going there from Zurich will also be easy since there are direct trains (what other towns do not have).

Natural lakes are not that common in this area, most are artificial ones (water reservoirs), but that does not mean that they aren't worth visiting.
