Fairmont or Columbus for 40th Birthday in July ?

Looking for good quality accomodation in a good location, but also wanting a little taste of luxury without breaking the bank !

Have you read the Tripadvisor reviews on these hotels ? I am wondering what more you could possibly want to know... The Columbus is slightly out of the way (if anything can be so described in such a tiny country - it is ten minutes from the Casino instead of two) and is a little cheaper as a consequence.

The Colombus is having trouble, they are firing 30 people, this will probably result into the closing of the restaurant and the bar . It is located in Fontvielille that is near the second port and by the heliport and the helicopters .

Between the two I would definitely go for the Fairmont. Centrally located, very comfortbale , several choices of restaurants, very good SPA, swimming pool on roof with a view . ....
