Cruise ship to train station in Monte Carlo

I need to get from the where the Crystal Serenty will be docked in Monte Carlo to the train station to catch a train to Villefranche. Can someone tell me the best way to get there. We are going to be with one person who has difficulty walking too far. Are taxis readily available or what do you suggest.

There are usually a couple of taxis waiting hopefully beside the cruise ships. If not, there will be an office dispensing tourist info etc at the embarkation point and they should be able to call you a taxi

I too would like to catch a train from the Monaco train station to Menton, Eze and Nice during a cruise stop there. Where is the train station in relation to the port where cruise ships dock? Is it near the casino area if I were to get there via cruise line shuttle? Thanks!

It's been a few years, but we did this and it was relatively easy to find the train station. But it is about a 20 minute hike from port. I'd definitely print a map of the town before you leave home. The train station signage is all in French, but not too hard to translate if you know a little. The train to Nice takes about 30 minutes. Once in Nice, it's about a 30 minute hike to the old town. Definitely worth seeing. If you start out early, you can be back in Monte Carlo by the time the Casino opens at 2pm. Of course, you won't see the old part of Monte Carlo. We are cruising next week, and stopping for two days, which we will definitely be seeing this time!
