Monaco Grand Prix

We enquired for this year and we were quoted £2000 each for the whole weekend (Thursday to Monday). Apart from camping out on a hill and seeing nothing without binoculars, is there another way of seeing the Grand Prix in Monaco?!

Thank you :)

1. Re: Monaco Grand Prix

why to pay 2000 ??

the next time

book in advance a hotel in Nice, Eze and go by public transport

buy a ticket at 70/100 euros each from the official organizer ACM

only a ticket could be expensive but nothing else

except if you book a trip with a private company and they charge you many commission ::))

or if you wait the last minute to find a hotel = everything will be fully booked or expensive

There is not need for it to be that expensive! We did it for way cheaper than that.

You can see my other post on monaco 2011 just below your post.

I would recommend staying in Nice, we stayed in an apartment with a company called Nice pebbles and it cost less that staying in a two star hotel room only. The train was easy.

You could easily spend well over £1000 in total for GP tickets over the weekend, but if you go for better seats on the thursday at saturday and cheaper seats on the sunday it works out better value for money.

We loved it and would got back in a second.
