Lift pass prices.

Busy searching for the best deals for Grand Valira lift passes and equipment in Soldeu.

We have booked our holiday with Crystal, but they have increased their liftpass price from 172.00 in the early brochure, to 191.00 at time of writing. They also do not offer the Junior price available in resort for 12-17 yr olds.

I have booked a party of 11, but did not book passes immediately as there was no warning that prices would go up this much, and people were still deciding whether to have a package.

I have received a better price from Ski Holiday Extras, part of Ifyouski.com, of 202 euros for adult, and 179 euros for junior.(186.00 and 165.00)

They can arrange our equipment as well.

I was planning to book our equipment with SnowBrainer, but they do not sell lift passes.

We have to book 1 ski pass with Crystal to get a free pass for our child under 12.

Neilson are selling area passes for 169.00, but only if you have booked with them.I checked the price with them, and it is current.

Well done Neilson.

Why can't Crystal do this as well??

We went with Neilson last year, but they didn't have the hotel we wanted for next feb.

Lift passes in resort are showing as 213 euros adult, and 189 euros Junior(12-17 yrs).

Any comments or advice from anyone please?

Hi, I booked my lift passes last year with pasdelacasainfo.com. They are a specialist in Pas De La Casa, but the Grandvalira lift pass is the same for Pas as it is for Soldeu. They even delivered the lift pass to me in the hotel. I am in the process of booking this year and they have quoted me the price of 195€. Compared to all the others they are the cheapest by far. This year we are staying in Canillo and the pas is the same for there as well. Check them out pasdelacasainfo.com.

Hope this helps

Lucy

Thanks for your reply. Is this the price for high season? Will they deliver to a hotel in Soldeu? Don't want to have to get taxi to Pas to collect them.

Thanks.

Hi, We are staying this year in Canillo which is further from Pas than Soldeu is, they have told us they will deliver to us in Canillo no problem. I am sure it is not a problem for delivery in Soldeu. We are travelling across in high season, resort price from Grandvalira for a 6Day high season pass is 213.5€, with pasdelacasainfo.com we are saving about 20€ each person. For other types of Pass i do not know as we are all adults. Check them out they are the cheapest.

I hope this helps.

Thanks to both of you, this works out at 178.00 at the moment on currency converter, so that is better than I have been quoted by Ifyouski.I will ask if they can match this.

I should add that Ifyouski have knocked 100 euros off our total of lift passes and equipment hire( for a group of 11)so they have offered a good deal really. I notice that pasdelacasinfo.com are not offering the lift pass for 12-17yr olds.Ifyouski are offering that for 179.55 euros.

Don't know if this will be any use to you, but Imghams are selling passes for £75.

Thanks for that Stockport.

I phoned Inghams. This offer is only for new holiday bookings with them, so no good for us.

I emailed Ifyouski(ski holiday extras)asking if they could match the pas price. They have knocked off a further 50 euros, so 150e discount altogether.Their ski/boot/board hire prices are good,( adult snowboard and boots= 75.60e. Gold skis and boots=97.20e. Silver skis only=65.55e.

Passes now work out at 187e so think thats the best I will find.

I have been dealing with a chap named Tom, very helpful and quick to respond to emails.Highly recommend him.

BIG BIG thumbs down to Crystal for increasing lift pass price from 172 to 191 pounds for customers who have booked holidays with them, and not offering the junior 12-17yrs lift pass either. My travel agent checked this, and it is correct.

Latest update re lift passes. I had a reply from pasdelacasainfo.com

They offered area adult pass for 195 euros, and also the junior pass for 175 euros.

I booked with skiholidayextras as they gave me the best deal.
