Who would you book with? Any pros or cons as to who we should book our car hire with? Is fuel on delivery included in original quotes or is there a extra charge for this? Not rented before so not sure what hidden charges we might need to consider.
We are booking via easycars, havnt had a price yet, but have spoken to George of easycars and they do not require a deposit and all the insurance etc is included. They have good website too that lists all the elements of the car hire that come as standard.
Easy rent a car every time for us ,George and Koula are very reasonable and very reliable.
We pick car up at the airport and drop it there on our return.
They put about €35 worth of petrol in car just to get you going, then just bring car back empty.

I always use Elephant Rent a Car because they are reliable, no hidden fees or deposits required.The price you are quoted is the price you'll pay plus petrol. Cars are always delivered with 1/2 tank of petrol, which costs same as in the petrol stations. The service is the best and their rates are very competitive. Easy rent a car,george and kula are great,as said no deposit and you just go to their office within a couple of days after you arrive to take documents and pay,no rip off with fuel.
As a genuine long term user of Elephant, I have always been very happy with their service.
I would recommend them... despite them now charging extra for an additional driver.

How much would you expect to pay for car rental in June for a compact size car? Thomson are quoting about £20 a day.
Do any of these companies have criteria about previous accident history? I have 5 claims in 5 years (because insurance for two cars is in my name so whether I'm driving or not, I get the claim and we've had a couple of runs ins with uninsured drivers where its not been my fault). This causes problems hiring a car in the UK, wondered if I am going to be able to in Cyprus?
