Wedding planner required

I am looking to get married in September 2007 in Paphos. I have already booked the town hall through the travel agents, I am looking for a wedding planner that can arrange everything else. Has anyone had good experiences with a wedding planner in pahpos and what are the prices like.

Hi there my son got married in Paphos at St.Pauls Church by the pillar it was magical, the church was shared by Greek Orthodox Roman Catholic and Protestant. The tour operator arranged everything it was First Choice. The men hired Harley Davidsons and escorted the bride to church and then to the Annabelle where we were staying. At the top of the road that you take to go to ST Pauls there is a tree and you hang a hankie on[must be clean!!!]and its is supposed to bring good luck. The cost of the wedding planner was included in the cost of the wedding the brides father paid for this we paid for the reception when the got home. There is a photograper who has a shop opposite the Annabelle hotel and we used him and the reults were excellent. Its my 40eith wedding anniversery in 2008 and we are hoping to go back and renew ou wedding vows[if I can persuade my husband who does not like any fuss.I hope you have as magical day as we did.good luck and best wishes.Olly

Hello

I got married in the town hall in Paphos last May. It was the most amazing experience and I would ba happy to answer any questions you have.

I can also suggest a great website that will answer all your questions, which has reports from people who have used wedding planners. Personally, I did most of my orgainsing myself with a little help from my hotel. I thoroughly recommend - it's a lot cheaper and you are more in control of your wedding.

The website is: http://p069.ezboard.com/fpaphosfrm23

You will need to register but once you do, it is really easy to use.

Another good website is: http://groups.msn.com/WeddingsbyKJ

My wedding photos are on this website if you are interested (Marianne and Paul May 2005).

Hope this helps you.

Hi we got married in Paphos in July, at the townhall and it was fantastic. They also play wedding music has you walk in which i wasnt aware about. Best day of our lifes and would reccommend it to any one.Dont want to scare you but Please ensure you lock up your personals as we got our villa robbed two days before and they stole our wedding rings and all my wedding jewelry as we didnt have a safe. it is a very safe place and has a very low crime rate but on this occasion it was a nightmareIt did not spoik our day one bit

Hi

My friend is a wedding coordinator. She has organised many weddings in Paphos ( and I hope mine too!) and can speak fluent greek and english, which does helps. She can tailor make your wedding so if you just want flowers then this is fine. If you want the works she can do this. She is independent of any travel company so she will use the best people and get the best prices. Her email is maritsa@chryswellsolutions.com. Hope this helps

Hi my niece got married last September in Paphos at the town hall - we stayed in villas www.vk-pentaras.com/royalhersonisos.htm

as there were 30 of us and these were very reasonable - the owner of the villa arranged the flowers, ceremony at the town hall, a reception on a boat - with champagne and an evening meal with entertainment - it was really reasonable approx £1800 in total for 30 people and that was with transport, cake everything

He will also arrange a blessing on the beach if you want -

Hope all goes well - Jo - any questions do email me

We got married at the Elysium 2 weeks ago. We used the thomas cook wedding coordinator for the wedding, the reception was organised by Ann the ELysiums own wedding coordinator. Both were more than helpful and everything was perfect
