Where to head in paphos for day trip?

We are staying just outside paphos near kouklia and have a hire car for a couple of days. Can anyone suggest whereabouts in paphos we should head. Thinking of going late afternoon for a look around and then dinner. Or would pissouri be better. Have 4 children to accommodate aged between 7 & 14. Thanks.

Paphos is interesting for the history lover. You have a small fort castle which costs about 1.50euro to enter, there is the archelogical site (lots of superb mosaics and quality roman ruins) costs about 3.50euro each. Im almost certain there is a car park just yards from these sites (which is all within the Marina). And of course there are lots of boats offering trips, and plenty of cafes/restaurants. Dont head for the aquarium , it has closed down.

There are reviews on trip advisor regarding both these attractions, you might want to read up, to see if its for you.

Hi, Pissouri is lovely and the views from the top are amazing , most of the restaurants are good. But while is it worth going there for a drive .There is not much there to entertain children there are water sports in the high season.
