Hi, I'm looking to arrange a short (7-8 day) holiday in September for my wife and I before we have our first child :) I'm considering Cyprus as a possible destination because it would be a relatively short flight from the UK, the weather should be good and nice beaches for a relaxing trip. However, we are muslim and I've only just realised that food-wise, Southern Cyprus won't offer us much so I've switched attention to Kyrenia.
I'm just hoping some Kyrenia experts can offer advice on how good a holiday we could have in Kyrenia as compared to Paphos and the like. We're obviously not looking for a trekky holiday or one with too much sightseeing due to my wife (she will be around 21-22 weeks) so I'd like a resort where we can relax, enjoy a nice beach, do some light activity/sightseeing involving boating etc., enjoy some nice spa/massage treatments and maybe do a little sightseeing and travel. Would Kyrenia offer us that? Would there be enough to do over 7-8 days? What would we not find there as compared to South Cyprus?
Also, if anyone has an idea of the quality of hospitals/clinics in Kyrenia in case we need to pay a visit, I'd appreciate some info.
Many thanks in advance!
