Stopping through Liechtenstein

We will be traveling from Lucerne to Innsbruck in a few months and thought about stopping in Leichtenstein for a few hours. Is this feasible? Would we take a train to from Leichtenstein to Vaduz? What would be the best way to navigate this? Thanks!

Assuming you're going by train to Innsbruck, you'll pass by Liechtenstein. But the train won't stop in the Principality. The easier way is to stop in Buchs, SG and catch a bus from there (15 minutes ride to Vaduz). You could then go back to Buchs, SG and grab the next train to Innsbruck.

Schedules (including for the buses) are available on:

Type "Vaduz Post" as destination.
