No problem Good idea for calling taxis etc, bring a mobile out that is open, and buy, a pay as you go sim card, Vodaphone / Go / or Malita. I think they are 10 Euros or so, there is no contract nor time limit on top ups. Also bring a 13 amp multi gang adaptor (pound land) this may come in handy as well. KNOWKATS.

Hi there...

As of today (July 1st) , the maximum you will pay for a call back to UK from Malta using your own UK mobile is 20p per minute, and 6p per text message, don't know how that compares with a local Maltese sim bearing in mind you have to buy one first ??

Regards

Dave

We bought a local SIM card, used it in Italy, doesn't seem to cost much, have reloaded it. Also local sim for the iPad. We go to The Phone Box in San Gwann, we found them really helpful.
