Reykjavik

Hello, we have a day to expolre Reykjavik and we are trying to work out how best to spend our time in the City. Does anyone have any throughts in relation to things/places we should not miss?

Also, where is the thermal beach in Reykjavik?

Thanks

Catherine,

See some recent posts on what to see in Reykjavik or look at the lists of attrcations on this screen or go to a website like visitreykjavik or icelandtourist.is. or icelandtouristboard.com

There is no thermal beach - there are thermal pools, eg Blue Lagoon (near airport) bluelagoon.is, or Laugar Spa in the city.

enjoy your day.

Hi,

Thanks for you reply, I had a quick look at one of the sites you mentioned, it made reference to Nautholsvik Thermal Beach in Reykjavik, is this not actually in Reykjavik?

Thanks again!

Nautholsvik is south of Perlan restaurant, and the local airport.

Apologies for the misinformation. yes, it seems hot water is pumped into an enclosed beach. Getting dried and changed quickly should be a challenge.
