What size do you need? If you are looking for cheap car that you can sleep in, Kuku campers are the cheapest ones. If you are looking for more advanced type of vehicle, you could look at: http://www.js.is/.

But bare in mind, that RV usually do not come cheap in Iceland and there

We did a lot of research before touring Iceland for 9 days by motorhome and we can unequivocally recommend Snail. From the start of our interactions, the owner Sigrun was fantastic and provided amazing service. They picked us up at Reykjavik and put us up for the night before we left for our trip and treated us like family. They didn't include any extra charges and stocked us with everything we could have possibly needed.

So you have like 6 or 7 days, right? It's a little bit short for a complete tour of the island, but it's ok.

The highlights of Iceland? Well, that could be the Golden Circle (which includes the waterfall Gullfoss, the geysers, and the National Park of Thingvellir (Þingvellir). Also the glacial lagoon Jökulsárlón, which is in the south east of the country. The Snaefellsnes peninsula is also very popular. In the north there are some stunning places such as the waterfall Dettifoss, the lake Myvatn, and the hot springs of Námaskarð (also called Hverarönd).

Your first decision should be if you want to drive the circle (road 1), or go south to Jökulsárlón, drive back, and take the Snæfellsnes peninsula. After that, we could suggest some routes.
