1. Re: best time to visit

This is the most difficult question in the world, but I am going to give it a try.

For good and warm weather, lots of tourist, and activity, the summer is best (June - Aug ).

For still decent weather, but not so many tourists, the "border" seasons are the best, (March - May) and (Sept - Nov).

For "wintery stuff", the winter is probably the best time, (Dec - Feb)

If you want to see the Northern Lights - darker months are "best".

If you want to see the "Midnight Sun", mid-summer is best.

"best" is subjective - what is it you want to do? That will determine when is "best".

Hi, I've been twice in the past 3 years, once in late June, and once in early July, and have really enjoyed the midnight sun experience and the pleasant weather. Great place!
