What to do Early in Helsinki; Helsinki's temperatures in mi?

I'll be arriving at HEL's Terminal 2 on 17 Sep 06:00 (flying onward at 17:10).

This means that after taking a bus to Helsinki, I'll arrive quite early to the vicinity of the central train station.

1. Can you suggest what to do in central Helsinki at around 07:30 (in mid September) ?

2. A Google search suggested that HEL's temperature in September is 8.7-14.3 °C: is that data correct?

1) Have breakfast at Ekberg www.cafeekberg.fi/cafeekberg/breakfastbuffet the walk to Bulevardi is nice. Other options are Fazer on Kluuvikatu (closer to the Esplanades than Ekberg) or the Fratello Torrefazione on Yliopistonkatu. One could take the stroll through the Esplanades to the Senate square and Suomenlinna at that time too, just sans the shopping. The department stores Stockmann and Sokos open at 9.00, smaller shops along the Esplanade maybe even around 10.

2) I check my forecasts at http://foreca.fi/Finland/Helsinki or http://ilmatieteenlaitos.fi/saa/helsinki the latter beeing the meteorological institute of Finland. Right now it's 14 degrees, early evening and the summer is definitely gone.

Why not walk to the Market Square (= Kauppatori / http://www.visithelsinki.fi/en/shopping-in-helsinki/market-square) - you can have some breakfast there as well. Walking from the railway station you will pass the Senate Square (= Senaatintori / http://www.visithelsinki.fi/en/sights-and-attractions/senate-square). From the Market Square you can take the ferry to Suomenlinna (visithelsinki.fi/en/sights-and-attractions/s…) - the HSL day ticket is valid on the ferry. There's a ferry every 20 minutes from 6:20 am and the ride takes 15-20 minutes.
