I will have one day in Helsinki in early June. I have visited the town and environs probably 10 times, so I've pretty much exhausted the museum, islands, Tallinn, town experiences, and this year I am looking for a slightly different experience.
I have heard that there may be a national park somewhat nearby that would be good for a day hike - a time to be out in a more natural environment. I am an experienced climber/hiker and would love to spend some time outdoors after a long day/night of flying to Helsinki.
I would be open to renting a car or using public transportation - whichever would be more efficient.
