Hotel Choice July 2nd

Hey folks, myself and some friends are planning a trip to Gothenburg on Thursday 2nd July for three nights. We have been looking at various locations & posts and thought somewhere round the Haga area sounded good for decent food, bars and meeting local people???

Could anyone recommend a hotel that we could book for say 10 adults, perhaps featuring a suite that we could use for a meeting place before going out in the evenings

If there is any better suggestions on hotel locations your thoughts are appreciated

No large hotels in or around Haga but Hotel Riverton and Comfort Hotel City centre are close enough. It's only a 10 to 12 minute walk to Järntorget

There is also a hostel in Linné, close to Slottskogen.

The area around Haga, Järntorget and Linnégatan are definately good for all kinds restaurants and clubs.

12-52 is an excellent restaurant on Linnégatan if you want something more expensive, Sjöbaren in Haga is good for seafood and Texas Longhorn is the place to go to for steaks. Finish off with drinks at Bitter on Linnégatan.
