Pub / Bar crawl in Stockholm

Hi!

I'm looking for a pub crawl in Stockholm on Monday 13th August, I'm stoping over in the city only for one night so thought it would be the best way to see the nightlife, but couldn't find any information on web...

Any advise?

Thanks

The most classic bar street is Götgatan on Södermalm. Östgötan, running in parallel, is more laid-back, with the risk that some bars are closed on Mondays.

Södermalm:

Akkurat - Hundreds of both beer and whiskies - sometimes good live music.

OT/Oliver Twist - Great beer spread, fopcused on American craft and micro breweries.

Half Way Inn - Small but nice British style pub wit many locals

Black & Brown Inn - See above

Gamla Stan / Old Town:

Wirströms - Laid back pub on two levels with good spread of beers and Irish Whiskies and many ex-pat's.

O'Connell's - Irish pub that's an OK option

Pubologi - Gastro pub with good food and a nice spread of bevvies

City Center:

The Dubliner - The old one was better but this one is still not bad.

Bishop's Arms: Chain pub but still has a good spread.

Norrmalm / Vasastan :

Man in the Moon: Laid back pub with good choice of swedish and ÜS craft/micro breweries as well as other goodies.

Sue Ellen: Mainly pub restaurant but also has a good bar.

The Doors: Been around for a while and a good place for a pint.

Peppar: Southern US bar and restaurant that always delivers.

AVOID: Limerick has gone down hill and is totally soul less nowadays.

Swedish microbreweries are blooming and when one interested in such you should find the special local pubs that serve the good local beers.

One of my favourite places in Stockholm is the Glenfiddich Warehouse no 68.

It is there in the main street on the old city, so you can't miss it.

Another good place with long list of local beers is Bishop Arms,

they have few pubs but the one I've been to is in central location just by the central station in Vasagatan 7.

They have some 50 taps with long list of local beers, last time I remember enjoying some ales and special porter.

Cheers.
