Stockholm Card vs Stockholm à la Carte

My wife and I are planning on visiting Stockholm for three days in early November and we've decided to get a city card, as it includes free transportation and free entrance to most museums. The only problem is that we've found two different cards to choose from, Stockholm Card (stockholmtown.com/templates/…) and Stockholm à la Carte (destination-stockholm.com/sights/index.htm). The packages they offer are roughly the same and both cards are in the same price range.

Have any of you had any experience with any of these cards? Do you recommend getting one? Which one is better in your opinion?

Thanks in advance!

You must stay at a participating hotel to get the A la carte card and the you get it for free. So if you want to stay at any of those hotels you should be satisfied with that card.

If not the Stockholm card has more to offer in my opinion and is more flexible but the difference is not that huge.

Have a great time
