Oresund Bridge and Turning Torso

Hi,

We will be in Malmo for around 3 hours. we are planning to visit oresund bridge and turning torso.

We will be travelling to Malmo from Copenhagen, by oresund train.

Should we get down before we reach Malmo Central, to have a good view of oresund bridge?

Is Oresund bridge far from City, and how to get there from City?

Thanks.

It will probably be easiest to get of at Malmo Centralstation, and it's 8 km to the bridge from there. There's a bus which takes you to something called "Luftkastellet" (Address: Utsiktsvagen 10 in Limhamn), it's right where the bridge starts to reach out over the ocean. Great view!

Here's a link to Luftkastellet where you can see how close it really is to the bridge(, and you can get even closer if you walk around the building):

Just ask at the info centre inside Malmo Centralstation about what bus to take to Luftastellet. I'm guessing it's bus # 4, but I'm not sure. Then the trip from the Centralstation takes about 30 min.

To get from there to Turning Torso. Take bus # 4 to "Fridhemstorget" (it's a square with a church). Change to bus # 3. Then it's only a couple of minutes busride from there.

Many thanks.

can you also guide about the ticket we can take?

Should we pay 15kr for every travel in the bus?

You're welcome. :)

It's 16 kr now. But one ticket will last about 1 hour. So you can change busses as much as you like during that hour.

Also since you're traveling with the Oresund Train, show the train ticket on the bus! It's valid there too so you don't have to pay anything for atleast the first bus ride. Don't know how long the train ticket is valid on busses later on though (thinking about when you're on your way back from the bridge).

Hope you'll have a good time.
