5 Hour Layover in Copenhagen: What to do?

We have a 5 hour layover in Copenhagen between flights.

1. Any suggestions on what to do? Is there anything we could see and get to/from in 2 to 3 hours?

2. We're catching an SAS flight back to the states. How long before the flight should we be back in the airport?

Hi

1. You could to to Dragør by taxi. Dragør is a well preserved fishing village just south of the airport. Its really charmimg and diffenrent from what you can experience in the US.

You could also take the train to Copenhagen, they run all the time (every 10 min from the airport, I think) It takes about 12 min to go to the center of Copenhagen and the cost is about 25 DKK.

In Copenhagen you could get on one af the habour/canaltours which will give you a good impressioen of what the city is like...If you take the Netto boats from Nyhavn the tour will last an hour and cost 30 DKK (must be the cheapest "sight" in Copenhagen!!)

2. You should check-in 3 hours before...so you really have to hurry ;-)

Have a nice journey!

3 hours? Hmmm. When we were returning to Iceland-New York, we got there about 2 hours prior to departure. The train ride is about 15-20 minutes, if I remember, to the town center in Copenhagen. You can just walk around a bit, go to the Hard Rock Cafe to eat and people watch, then head back.
