I'm about to go to Copenhagen in early December as a surprise birthday present for my boyfriend. I'm looking to hire an apartment while I'm there instead of a hotel as I think it's so much nicer and more personal.
Currently I'm being offered two different apartments. One is in Frederiksberg, very near the metro and bus but is a quite a lot more expensive. The other is is Vesterbro, quite near the bus and 15 mins to Central Station.
I'm torn as I don't know either area at all. Could anyone give me any advice about which to choose? We're quite young (late20s/early 30s) but won't be doing any partying. I'm looking for a relaxed, cheapish area that we can hang out in the evenings after sightseeing during the day.
