Billund to AEro to Copenhagen Possibility

Hello, We are considering staying in Billund or Vejle one night (legoland that day) and wondering whether it is possible to do a day trip to AEro on the way to Copenhagen.

We are thinking of something like this.....Take bus/train from Billund or Vegle to Svendborg for Ferry to AEro. We would spent a few hours in Aero and then continue on our way to Copenhagen that night.

Since we are unfamiliar with the tiimes of travel and distances (other than cursury looks at maps) can anyone tell me this is doable?

Other information such as (are their luggage lockers in Svendborg)...............hotel recomendations in Vejle or Billund (or elsewhere based on this itinerary would be appreciated.

Thank you.

A day trip to Ærø on the way from Billund to Copenhagen is possible but is not recommended. Billund-Svendborg is 2,5-3 hours by bus and train. The ferry to Ærø adds another 1,25 hours and only departs every three hours. From Svendborg to Copenhagen there is another 2,5-3,5 hours by bus and train.
