Kanapitsa or Troulos

Not sure which would be the best resort for us so thought I would ask advice on here :)

Sister has just returned form Kanapitsa and absolutely loved it. I think that we would too but also like the look of Troulos.

We like things to be on the quieter side but also like a nice beach.

Unfortunately at the moment we are limited to visiting in the school holidays as we have two sons. They like socialising but also prefer places that aren't too hectic. (I know this would be a big ask in the school holidays)

Usually hire a car.

Me & the OH love Troulos we have been 7 times. Kanapitsa is beautiful but not many bars & restaurants without having to walk quite a way. Troulos has a great beach nice tavernas. Plenty of restaurants & bars but still low key in a lovely countryside setting. Only 20 mins from Skiathos town .

Kentlyn, you say that you like things on the quieter side but also like a nice beach, so I wonder of you have considered Kolios? Some great small studios, Demitris, Xanthi, Theodra's, Veronica's, Manos, Skiathos Diamond, all in a quiet location but just a short walk to Kolios beach, Ag Paraskevi beach and Vromolimnos (slightly further) and of course the bus can take you to any of the other southern beaches. Whatever you decide I'm sure you'll have a great time.
