Paschalis Studios - Platanias

First time I have posted a question so not sure if this will work!! Has anyone stayed at the Paschalis studios in Platanias? Only Managed to find a couple of reviews and they were from quite a while back. I have booked 2 weeks there from 29th May so am wanting any info on standard and equipment etc. Been holidaying in Greece for many years so used to the 'basic' descriptions. Can anyone tell me if bath towels are provided as this seems to vary somewhat and I don't want to take extra towels if I don't have to. One more question - how long does it take on the bus to get from Platanias to Skiathos Town.

all replys welcome.

Hi, They did supply bath towels when we went in 2005.

I know its a while back but i should think that they still do.

The studios are as you have said "Basic" but well looked after. There isnt a bar but its just a short walk to Jimmys Studios .

The bus will take about 15/20 mins into town , get of at bus stop no 4 and walk down to the harbour etc when returning get on at the terminus as you will get a seat at busy times.

When at the Paschalis and you need stuff from the shop instead of going down to the main road in agia Paraskevi/Platanias turn up the lane to the right at Jimmys and you will find a small supermarket along there.

Thanks for the info and the extra details regarding bus stops and supermarket etc, much appreciated. Hope I enjoy my visit to Skiathos as much as everyone else seems to have done.
