Hi

I am thinking about booking a 2 week holiday in september 2013 through olympic holidays...Has any body stayed in the Ninna Apartments?

Will there be plenty of things to do/see to fill the 2 weeks?

Is it a pretty and untouristy place ? what is the port of patitiri like as this is were i would be based...

Last but not least how is the weather first few weeks of september...

Phew!!!... sorry about all the questions, any other info would be great...x

Hi

Depends what you like to do! It's a beautiful untouristy island. Wonderful beaches, many of them, if you enjoy a walk, can be yours alone, but don't forget your beach shoes!

Patitiri is a good place to stay, many good Tavernas, most with a good view of the harbour.

Lifelong Greek Island hoppers, a different island every year.....until we found Alonissos! Returning this year for our 3rd time

Have a great holiday!

As jane says it is a beautiful untouristy island. Lots of nice beaches and some nice walks too if you like walking.

We have stayed in Patitiri which is lovely but not in the aprtments you mention. As to whether there is plenty to do, it depends what you like doing. There are lovely beaches to find, good walks, nice tavernas and bars to sample, boat trips round the island or to lovely Skopelos and Skiathos or the the wonderful marine park where there are some endangered species of seals and other sea life.

A visit to Chora is nice( the old capital of Alonnisos) and Votsi is a picturesque village. I would never be bored in Alonnisos, it's a beautiful and relaxing place.

Weather in early September is nice but can become changeable after the middle of September.

Enjoy your holiday.

We've hired cars from Albedo Travel on the harbour front. Always very helpful. For prices and also other info about the Island have a look at their website www.alonissosholidays.com (We use them for booking our accommodation)
