Bus info Corinth-Xylocastro

Hello knowledgeable people!

Hoping someone can provide info on buses from Corinth to Xylocastro.

I know that one can take the train to Kiato, and from there to points west, a train-replacement bus. I assume that this bus takes the highway and calls at the train stations?

Is there a bus service along the coast road making all the stops along the way?

Where does it leave from in Corinth?

How frequent is the service?

Does one pay on the bus?

Thanks!

You need to get off at Kiato rather than Corinth. Here is the timetable for the buses:

It would seem that only the 9.30 and 17.30 buses stop at Xylokastro.

Why don't you take from Corinth the local bus that runs every hour to Xylokastro without changes. It's only a 45 minute route.

If you are coming via proastiakos (the train) then from Corinth you stop in Kiato and you take the bus to Xylokastro but there is no bus every hour.

Thanks!

Where does the bus to Xylokastro leave from in Corinth? I understand there are TWO bus stations in the city itself, plus the one at the canal??

Thanks again.

The main bus station is across the area of the old train station, in a walking distance from the city center (10-15 minutes). The other station is at the city center, whoever you ask can give you directions. The third one is in Isthmos (the canal) but it is 5 kilometers out of the city. Also, if you are coming from Athens there is a bus that goes straight to Xylokastro without changes.
