The breakfast for Greek is very simple a Greek coffee and a koulouri which is a small dry bread ring. Although I have also seen people eating cooked lamb in the morning. The big dinner is in the family at siesta time 14.00-17.00 than mother has cooked her big meal and there's plenty. A Greek is always prepared for unexpected friends to join dinner, even if this is a tourist.... so be aware. In the late evening people go to a mezedopolio, here they order small plates with typical local spices. Everybody has a fork and picks whats he likes. With a good glass of wine , a local ouzo or on Crete a Raki this is the relaxed way of dining in Greece. Come and see it.......
