Car Rental

Hello.

Any reviews on Sixt Car rental?

Also, do I need to do anything other than take my U.S licence and passport?

You have to go to your local AAA office to pick up an International Driving Permit, no test or membership required. Bring 2 passport photos with you to save a few dollars. Greek law requires this document.

Thank you Brotherlee Love. I'll make sure we have this!

Do you recommend driving from airport to Kamari to watch sunset and then to Akrotiri?

We arrive at 4am and don't have the hotel in Oia until 2pm.

Thanks

I think you must mean 'sunrise', not sunset, and that's a good way to spend your morning. Kamari is very close to the airport. Getting to Akrotiri when they first open is the best way to beat the crowds. It's magical then.

Thanks for understanding me, I meant Sunrise!

OK great, that way I have something to do in the morning. Do you know if parking in Kamari is difficult?
