Santorini - 4 nights with 3 kids (teenagers),must sees/dos?

Hi

We're going this July as part of a trip to the Cyclades (Mykonos, Naxos, Amorgos, Santorini)

Children are 16,13,11.

We are staying 4 nights in Firostefani.

2 things I thought would be good would be to do an early morning walk to Oia and bus/taxi back.

One of the late afternoon/sunset snorkelling/sailing trips.

Anything else?

We are flying out on the evening of the last day so will have almost a full day then.

Thanks!

Visit akrotiri archeological site...its an easy trip on the bus and get a tour guide it costs extra but makes it worth it. Then wander down the hill. At the bottom turn right and head along the water front to the tavernas. I personally recommend the dolphin where you can sit out on a little pier in the water and eat great seafood. After that, hop on the water taxi for a few euro each...it takes you past red beach which is dangerous due to rock falls...and onto white beach and black beach. Get off on black beach. Hire some sun loungers and get a cold drink from the bar. Swim through the cave and if your strong swimmers and brave enough swim round to white beach and back. Prepare to get a little wet as you have to wade through the water to get off and back on the water taxi.

If you go to Oia go to the public swimming pool. Its past the last windmill. Its free to use if you buy food or drinks. Its small but chilled out and its a great spot to watch the sunset from....you could also go swimming in the sea down at ammoudi bay ...walk past the restaurants and there are rocks where everyone jumps into the sea from.

Take the cable cars down to old port in fira and eat at a little taverna and ride back up....more for the cable car trip than the food.

Definately do the hike but take plenty of water ...the views are amazing between that and the day at Akrotiri its hard to pick our favourite. If you do this hike just after imerovigli there is a little cafe it doesnt look much and there isnt much around but the food was yummy...we had cheese stuffed meat patties and they were amazing. You could take the kids to the pool in Oia after the hike as way to cool off. Thats what we did. It begins with an L but i have forgotten the name...an expert on here will know it

Just some suggestions...its hard to know what will interest teenagers these days lol!

We did a Sunset sail with Captain Ted Santorini Sailing on the Dreamcatcher. The kids will love it. Food included as well as drinks (beer and wine) for adults. The crew food and scenery cant be beat. 3 stops for swimming or just chill on net of boat the whole time.Amazing time was had by all in our group.

Go down below Oia to Amoudi Bay so the kids can swim and jump off rocks where the best swimming on the island is located. Walk about 1/4 mile along the seawall that begins at the side of the wharf just past the Sunset Restaurant. This is what you'll find there: https://tinyurl.com/y954scy8 and https://tinyurl.com/ycyk2vtk

They'll love this and will create lasting memories. It's safe to jump, the water is very deep and from the upper platform it's only around 15-20 feet to the water.

Have lunch after some swimming at one of the tavernas in Amoudi Bay.
