"AutoRentals Crete" has anyone used this firm?

Hello i am searching to rent a car in heraklion airport in August and i know that the cheapest always has some dangers (insurances issues, deposits, hidden costs, etc).

Has anyone used 'AutoRentals Crete" firm?

Yes we rented from autorentalscrete for three weeks last September. They delivered the car to our hotel in Sissi and picked it up at the end of the three weeks at our hotel in Heraklion.

Rental rates include collision waiver with no deductibles. This coverage protects you and the other driver if you are at fault. Vehicles are fairly new. In my mind outstanding service.

We have another car reserved for Mid September. They are meeting us at Chania bus station bringing us to their location at the airport where we will pick up the car and we will be dropping it off at Heraklion airport two weeks later.

There are lots of threads about car rental in Crete and autorentals is consistently mentioned with very positive reviews.

Yes, we have used autorentals and cannot praise them enough. Full insurance, decent cars and excellent service. Picked up and returned to Heraklion airport.

AutoRentals is likely the most recommended car hire company on this Forum - endorsed by me too.

We use them every time we visit Crete and they have been first rate - a truly what you see is what you get company and Dimitris, the owner, is a lovely chap too. :-)

We have rented cars from Dimitris at AutoRentals Crete for many years now and wouldn't consider going anywhere else.. Great cars, very clean, nearly new and low mileage. Full insurance and no hidden extras. Dimitris has a wealth of knowledge on Crete and where to go and how to get there! He has bought the car to our hotel in the past but for the last few visits we have collected the car from him at Heraklion airport and driven to our resort. We've dropped the car back at his Sissi office or dropped it back at the airport on our way back home. Dimitris is a great guy to do business with and we can thoroughly recommend.

After doing research on this forum last year we too booked with AutoRentals when we stayed in Koutouloufari, and were very pleased with the service and the car. We will visit Chania this year and will definitely be contacting them again to book our car hire for June.
