Hey and welcome Fandeme:-) Well, that's up to you.. when do you plan on going.. your interests, prefs.. what are you looking to experience.. etc;-) Read up on the various isle groups to incude the Ionian, Dodecanesse, Cyclades, Sporades.. see which you feel best fit the bill for you.. and FWIW, with a limited time of only 3 days (2 nights?) on each, best to stick to one isle group for better ferry service between the isles;-) Happy planning.. and enJOY!

Hi there

Four islands in twelve days involves a lot of travelling, time that could be better spent relaxing and exploring. Assuming that you will arrive in Greece at Athens airport, you have to decide whether to fly or ferry to your first island, a flight in this case would be better as you are at the airport anyway, saves lots of time and gets you to your island on day one. But, do you want to allow any time for Athens, seeing as you're coming so far?

Each time you change location you will use up the better part of a full day and of course, you need to allow time to get back to Athens. So, looking at your proposal to see four islands involves five days when you will be in transit which is almost half the time you have. I would certainly knock out one island and divide the time between the others you choose, and if you DO require time to see Athens, knock off two islands and leave the Athens time until last, bearing in mind that you will need a minimum of two full days to see the major outdoor sights.

You can also consider Milos, Santorini and Naxos. Milos' beaches have some of the most spectacular rock formations you'll see anywhere.

All islands are "recommendable" but what do you want to do and see? What are your interests? Four islands is still too much for 12 days.

Hey again:-) From Santorini, depending on when you'll be traveling, you'll find it an easy commute to Ios, Naxos and Paros that are well serviced in season! If you're planning to bypass Athens, would consider flying out to Santorini upon arrival off the trans while you're still at the airport.. but would highly rec to get back to Athens at least the day before your trans flight(s) home.. 3 isles and a finale night in Athens should work with approx 12 days considering the distance you're coming;-) Keep us posted.. keep enJOYin'!
