Things to do/se/eat/drink!

10 of us coming to La Cala Golf Resort for a 40th/golf break on 11th June.Personally I'm not a big fan of golf so what else is there to do and see in the area? Also don't want to be tied to the resort for food and drinks so does anyone have any recommendations for bars, restaurants and clubs (niteclubs that is,NOT golf clubs!!).

Thanks in advance.

I believe the golf resort is outside of La Cala itself and is a bit of a trek. However, La Cala itself has plenty of bars and restaurants and Fuengirola is just up the road with lots of bars, restaurants and night life.

What sort of thing are you interested in so we might be able to advice you a bit better.

I've been on two Monteaventura tours and I can really recommend them. Antonio and Hugo are amazing guides and are full on passion and enthusiasm for the ecology of the area. You can learn a lot about Spain from them, and we'll be going again in September when we are in Estepona and Calahonda.

It may seem like a lot of money but both times we've been have been the best days of our holidays.
