Trains from Porto to Lisbon

Is there a train going to Lisbon Airport, e.g. from Porto? If not, how one can get to the airport then after arriving to Lisbon and which station is better to arrive? Thanks

There is no station at Lisbon Airport. The nearest station is Lisbon Oriente which has a connection by metro train to the airport. The metro train takes about 6 minutes from Oriente to the Airport.

Obtain the train times Porto to Lisbon Oriente from www.cp.pt reservation is needed, this can be made a maximum of 30 days before travel on line and you print your own ticket.

The metro connection to the airport is very convenient.

It's only 3 stops and takes 9 1/2 minutes.

Here's the website for the metro: http://www.metrolisboa.pt/eng/

There's a journey planner to see the schedule.

My wife & I will be disembarking from the river cruise in Porto about December 7, 2013. I can pull our luggage but have mobility issues that will prevent hauling the cases any distance. Obviously a taxi will be some what more expensive then either the train or bus but is it even possible to travel from Porto to Lisbon by taxi?

Yes you can but you'll pay for a return. I can not recommend a service in Porto but there's one in Lisbon which often comes highly recommended on this forum. You could see if they can pick you up? email them for a quote: http://www.lisbontaxis.com.pt/

I'm sure you could negotiate a trip, but I would imagine it'd be in excess of 300 euro. Take the taxi instead to the train station or the airport.

Hi everyone,

I arrive at Porto Airport at 20.30 pm, is there any chance of getting any kind of transport to Lisbon after that time? I see the last train leaves at around 21.00. By bus maybe? Thanks a lot for your help!

Last bus leaves Porto downtown at 21.30.

There's a flight (TAP airlines) from Porto to Lisbon, it leaves 21.35

There is a rede-expressos.pt bus leaving the Rodoviario Garagem Atlantico on Rua Alexandre Herculano at 00:45 arriving Lisboa Sete Rios at 04:35
