Childcare in Braha

Hello,

Does braha have any childcare facilities for a three year old? I can't find anything! I want to move there but have a daughter coming With me. Any help would be so appreciated.

Sorry but are you looking for a kind of daycare? In portuguese that's called "creche" or "jardim de infância". Braga has dozens for sure, the majority of portuguese mums are working mums not stay home mums.

Do you mean to live? If you have work the company may help, does it need to be English speaking or do you speak Portuguese, have you made yourself aware of residency/employment requirements?

It will be to live yes. But I will be a student and not working. I would prefer it to be a bilingual centre but whatever I can find really.

This is a really travel forum, not one for relocation. You will need to ask locally about child care, for which you will have to pay. Also be aware that the staff may not speak English and the other children certainly will not.

Your child will possibly become bi-lingual by the age of 5 as did the children of friends of mine, which was very useful when they started school.

There are plenty of childcare facilities. The best can be harder to get into and quite expensive. Your best option would be to ask around once you get here and pick one close to your residence or university.
