Wi Fi in Lisbon

Can anyone give me an answer to the following couple of questions.

1. Where in Lisbon I can find a comfortable spot to sit and work (library, museum, university etc) which has a WiFi connection (either paid PT style or other its doesnt matter). Need to be able to sit for 5/6 hours at a time.

2. Where if any there is free wi fi. I've got a list of freebies already however in my experience the lists you get of the wifi finders are pretty unreliable.

3. Are there any providers in Portugal other than PT and Boingo with widespread pentration and if yes then are there ones that will do a two month account (PT only seems to do weeklys)

Thanks for your help

In Lisbon there's a new project called "Digital Gardens".

In 21 gardens of the city you can access the internet through an WiFi connection and for free.

If you don't mind working under the sun (or rain...) maybe this is a good option.

These are the gardens with internet access:

(You can find the map on http://jardinsdigitais.cm-lisboa.pt/ just click in the sentence "jardins, miradouros e outros espaços públicos da cidade de Lisboa." to open the map)

* Alameda Afonso Henriques (Fonte Luminosa):

* Alameda Keil do Amaral:

* Alameda Roentgen:

* Espaço Monsanto:

* Jardim Amália Rodrigues:

* Jardim Braancamp Freire (Campo de Santana) :

* Jardim do Arco do Cego:

* Jardim do Campo Grande:

* Jardim França Borges (Jardim do Príncipe Real):

* Jardim Guerra Junqueiro (Jardim da Estrela):

* Jardim Vasco da Gama:

* Miradouro da Graça:

* Miradouro de Nossa Senhora do Monte:

* Miradouro do Alto de Santa Catarina:

* Parque da Bela Vista (Norte):

* Parque Eduardo VII / Esplanada do Lago

* Parque Eduardo VII / Estufa Fria-Parque Infantil:

* Parque José Gomes Ferreira (Mata de Alvalade):

* Parque Recreativo do Alto da Serafina:

* Parque Recreativo do Alvito:

* Quinta das Conchas e dos Lilazes:

thanks for this. There seems to be a great free wifi movement over here at the moment. Have heard as well that Funchal and Horta are also free wired.
